# Driftflight terms of service

Effective 1 June 2026. Driftflight is operated by Driftflight Studio, Inc.

## The service

Driftflight generates images from text prompts over an HTTP API, on the
plans listed at https://drift-flight.org/pricing.

## Licence and ownership

Every paid render on a commercial plan (Studio and Agency) carries a perpetual, worldwide commercial licence: you may use,
modify, and distribute the output for any lawful purpose, including
advertising and resale as part of your own work. Hobby-plan renders carry a
personal, non-commercial licence. Outputs embed C2PA content credentials
recording provenance; the credentials do not limit your rights.

## Billing and refunds

Plan billing is monthly in advance. Failed
renders are never billed. Renders that complete but are unusable due to a
service defect are refunded on request within 30 days.

## Acceptable use

No generation of unlawful content, content that infringes third-party
rights, or content prohibited by the moderation policy. Refused prompts are
not billed.

## Liability

The service is provided as-is; our aggregate liability is capped at the
amounts you paid in the preceding 12 months.
